Critical Review

Week 5

Although the week of task 2 had started, I still finalizing my proposal, so I didn't have much progression for this week. I only spent some time finding related articles from Google Scholar.

Week 6

I still continued to find related articles. During the tutorial session, we were suggested to use Taylor's Library and Mendeley in this task since we had a workshop about it. The information and tutorial on using them during the workshop were too much, and I couldn't remember how to use Mendeley, so I searched for videos as a guide. I tried using Taylor Library to search for articles, but the loading was taking too long and the articles that I wanted to read didn't provide a pdf file and I couldn't access them.

I decided to use other platforms like Google Scholar, Research Gate, and others. The keyword that I searched was around anime content. 

Week 7

A lot had happened to me during this week, my mind was unclear and sometimes I just lost the direction of the topic that I needed to search. I threw quite a lot of articles into Mendeley after reading the abstract and I thought it would be suitable, but after skimming through it, I didn't think it was. 

After consultation, I decided to take a step back, rethink and rediscover the direction of searching related articles. The search areas that I decided on were the development of anime content, the changes in the storytelling of anime, etc. But the results showing was not fully what I wanted but still have some content was related.

Some of the articles that I found were in different languages. The abstract was in English and after reading it, I really think it was suitable and related to my topic, so I translated them using a translator. The articles that I decided to use were marked with stars from the image above.

Week 8

The submission date was delayed to one more day, but I still couldn't finish it on time due to my slow progression during the past few weeks. It really took a lot of time for me to read and understand the articles as my English skill was not very good. I still needed help from the translator to understand some sentences and phrases. After reading one, I wrote one critical review about it.
