Instruction
Task 2: Digital Triptych
In this task, we are required to choose one theme for the task, which is Cultural Celebration or Renewal of Life. I decided to choose Renewal of life as my theme because I have some ideas like, the life of flowers or the life of people.

I found some inspiration in Pinterest for my task. I planned to chose sunflower or morning glory. In the first artboard, I'm gonna draw them starting to grow during the sunrise. For the second artboard, they are fully bloomed in the afternoon. The last artboard, they withered at night.

I used gradient effect for my background, at the left is the colour of sunrise, at the middle is blue sky in the afternoon, at the right is night sky.

I sketched out the clouds using brush tool. Then, I used pen tool to draw the lines and added colour to it.

Since the sky had different colours, so I tried different colour clouds to cooperate the sky colour.

I used pen tool to draw out the house according to the image that I found on Pinterest. It was quite empty if there was only a house, so I added some trees and bushes.

As the three background lightings were different, I adjusted the colours of mountains, fields and the house.

I decided to use sunflower as the main subject in this task. I made the sunflowers in three different forms in the three artboards. At sunrise, the sunflower haven't bloomed but its stem is already straightened. At noon, the receptacle of sunflower is facing upwards and it is fully bloom. At night, as there is not sunlight, the receptacle of sunflower is facing downwards.
I used pen tool to track the line of sunflowers based on the image that I found.

Due to the lightings at night, the sunflowers need to be dimmer. I duplicated the sunflowers, made it gradient and lower the opacity.

I made a reflection of the window lights from the house.

After given feedbacks, I made some changes to the clouds, because it doesn't always remain at the same position. So, I used the clouds from one artboard and combined it to three artboards.

Feedbacks:
Can used the clouds from one artboard and put it to three artboards. The sunflower in the middle can make it bigger.
Reflection:
I enjoyed the process while doing this project, which I can do any design I want which is related to the theme. I also discovered some tools and learnt how it worked that has not been taught in class.
